The struggle is real.

You know the one…

I mean, we’re all just products of our past, right? That’s what we’ve been told since we were kids — that, “your past predicts your future”.

I’ve always found it tragically ironic that although we live in a therapy culture, most people walk around completely bound by the very things that they are getting therapy for…

Not that there is anything inherently wrong with getting therapy — that’s not my point. My point is that therapy without actually gaining breakthrough is a waste of time! You could spend a lifetime in and out of therapy, but at the end of the day, what you really need is BREAKTHROUGH!

But achieving breakthrough takes a long time, doesn’t it?

Nonsense.

Let me explain…

Thinking that change HAS to take a long time is really rooted in the doctrine of therapy. What takes time is becoming “ready” for change.

Change takes place in a moment!

Think about it…

Have you ever known someone who smoked for years and years and then one day said, “that’s it, no more. never again. I will never smoke again!”?

Of course, we all have. That person may even be you!

How did they change? Did it take them a long time to actually make the change? Heck no! The change was made in a moment, but they probably took a long time thinking about making a change — and that’s where everybody gets messed up!

Thinking about change is NOT the same as making a change.

So the question then becomes, how do we become better at deciding to make a change?

This is a fantastic question, and getting this answer correct will absolutely fuel you towards the massive breakthrough that you need in your life!

So, you want to know the secret to overcoming a past that’s filled will failures at weight loss?

Well, it isn’t going to be found in the gym or in the next diet you go on.

The first step to any real, life-changing breakthrough is mastering your own psychology.

I totally get why this is such a hang up because remember, we have been told our whole lives that our future is bound and determined for us as a direct consequence of our past — in other words, “our pasts predict our future”.

I’m here to tell you that It’s just not true — unless of course, we let it!

The secret is — your long-term weight loss success lies in FIRST understanding YOU!

It’s all about moving past focusing on what you need to do and digging for the deeper meanings of our actions — it’s all about discovering why you need to do what you need to do!

What are your reasons?

Reasons give our decisions power. The more powerful your reasons are, the more powerful the decision.

The more powerful your reasons, the easier it is decide to change right NOW.

Breakthrough then becomes a decision for you.

Just decide.

And like our muscles, the more you exercise this decision making muscle, the stronger that muscle becomes.

Start with smaller, but still important decisions that you’ve been putting off. Decide to make a change. Come up with as many reasons as you can and get connected with those reasons.

You can create change now – just decide!

I’m hear to tell you that the strangleholds of in your life — whether that’s your health, your business or career, your marriage, your children, or your faith — are 80% psychology and 20% technique…

Finding the right technique or strategy alone will NOT lead to the breakthrough that you desire.

It simply can’t.

It’s not powerful enough.

We only make time in our lives for the things that we make musts…

As humans, we need much more than knowledge of the things we should change in our lives!

We need so much more than shoulds…

We have to make them musts!!
